Who is responsible for your data

Croatia Sailing Week is responsible for the personal data collected through this website and when we answer your enquiries. You can contact us about your data at any time at info@croatiasailingweek.com.

What we collect and why

  • Enquiries and booking requests: when you use the booking form or email us, we receive the contact details and trip preferences you provide. We use them to respond to your request and discuss availability.
  • Form delivery: the booking form uses FormSubmit, a third-party form delivery service, to transmit your enquiry to our email inbox. The information you submit is sent through that service. Please review the service provider’s privacy information before submitting the form if you want to understand its handling of submitted data.

Who we share it with

We share booking enquiry details with the form delivery provider described above only as needed to transmit your request, and with relevant service providers where necessary to respond to an enquiry or arrange a trip. We do not ask for payment card details through the website form.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: have inaccurate data corrected.
  • Erasure: have your data deleted in certain circumstances.
  • Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your data.
  • Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
  • Portability: receive data you gave us in a machine-readable format, or have it sent to another organisation.
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on consent.

To use any of these rights, email info@croatiasailingweek.com. We will respond within one month, the time limit the GDPR sets, and tell you if we need longer for a complex request.

You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, usually in the EU country where you live or work, or where you think the problem happened. In Croatia, this is the Personal Data Protection Agency (Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka, AZOP).
