Dates and prices
Dates, Prices and What's Included
What a sailing week in Croatia usually includes, the extra costs to budget for, and how to get a written quote for your dates.

How to get a price
Prices depend on the week you choose, the yacht and whether you book a cabin or the whole yacht. July and August are the busiest and most expensive weeks, and late spring and September usually cost less.
Send us your dates, the number of people travelling and the kind of trip you have in mind. We will reply with a written quote that shows the price, what it includes and what you pay for separately.
What is included and what is extra
What a sailing week includes varies a lot between operators, so compare like with like. Some prices cover only your berth and the skipper. Others add bed linen and towels, fuel, marina fees, final cleaning or some meals.
Additional costs to budget for
Depending on what your booking includes, plan for some or all of these:
- Travel to and from the marina: flights, ferries, buses, taxis or transfers, plus a night's accommodation if you arrive the day before.
- Meals ashore: most evenings in harbour towns end at a konoba or restaurant.
- Food and drinks on board: breakfast, lunches, snacks and drinks, often paid for through a shared kitty.
- Tourist tax: Croatia charges a tourist tax on overnight stays, and it applies to guests sleeping on charter yachts too.
- National and nature park entry: some protected areas charge a fee to enter by yacht. See national and nature park fees.
- Marina, mooring and fuel costs: if not included, these are usually shared by the guests on board.
- Activities and extras: beach clubs, scooter or bike hire, excursions and tips. See money, cards and tipping.
- Travel insurance: strongly recommended. See travel insurance for sailing trips.

Deposit and payment
If you book a whole yacht, ask whether a refundable security deposit or damage waiver applies, as this is common in yacht charter. Read the full booking terms and how your money is held on the payment protection page.
Cancellation in brief
The full policy, including what happens if a departure is cancelled or the itinerary changes, is on the cancellation and refunds page. Travel insurance that covers cancellation is the best protection against having to cancel for personal reasons.
Price transparency
If a price or charge is unclear, email info@croatiasailingweek.com and ask for a written breakdown before you book.
Common questions
Are prices per person, per cabin or per yacht?
That depends on whether you book a cabin or the whole yacht. Your written quote states clearly what the price covers. Ask for a quote.
Why do prices change between weeks?
Demand for yachts and berths peaks in July and August, so those weeks usually cost more. Prices also depend on the yacht and the booking option.
