Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you cancel, the amount refunded depends on how far ahead of departure you tell us, as set out in your booking contract. If we cancel or significantly change a departure, the options open to you are also set out in your booking contract. A route change for weather during your week is handled separately.
If you cancel
Where EU package travel rules apply to a booking, travellers can generally cancel at any time before departure, paying an appropriate termination fee, and can cancel without a fee if unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at the destination significantly affect the trip. Whether these rules apply to your booking is set out in our booking terms.
How refunds are paid
Where package travel rules apply, refunds due under them must be paid within 14 days of the contract ending.
Weather and route changes during your week
A route change during the trip is different from a cancellation. Wind and sea decide what is safe, and your skipper may change the order of stops, swap an island or stay in harbour for a day. The sailing week still goes ahead.

Travel insurance
Travel insurance can cover costs that a cancellation policy does not, such as cancelling because of illness. Check what a policy covers before you buy it. Our guide to travel insurance for sailing trips explains what to look for.
How to request a cancellation
- Email info@croatiasailingweek.com with your booking reference and the names of the guests who are cancelling.
- Keep the confirmation with your booking documents.
Questions and complaints
If you have a question about a cancellation or a refund, email info@croatiasailingweek.com with your booking reference. If you are not satisfied with our reply, our booking terms explain how complaints are handled.
